  • The train ticket was in a sleeper car without ac and the boat they booked for me wasn’t running.
  • I purchased another boat ticket on a high speed catamaran because that’s the only boat that was going at the time because of the high seas they said. I though “how high could the seas be?”
  • We got to the pier and got on the boat, I had made friends with some Brits and Sweeeedish kids that were traveling so we all sat together in the front of the boat…
  • The sea was angry that day my friend. We were tossed about like a rag doll and everyone started getting sick immediately.
  • Not wanting to feel left out I followed and was sick the entire boat ride… not fun.
  • We arrived on the island right around 9-10am.
  • I hooked up with a group of professional skaters from England and shared a taxi truck.
  • I walked around to a bunch of hotels and finally settled on one for 350 baht a night with an ocean view.
  • I walked around the backpackers area of the island and took a quick dip in the water.
  • Came back to the room where I took a nap then washed my clothes.
  • I met up with a Swedish girl that was in the next room over and she invited me to dinner with her and her friends.
  • We went to a local restaurant where I had the worst Pad Thai, the chicken wasn’t cooked and I had to send it back…
  • We got some ice cream and water at 7-11 after and hung out at the hotel.
  • I took a shower, worked on my paper a bit and went to bed.
