  • I got up early so I could get a quick bite before the tour group picked me up at 8am
  • I was expecting a pickup truck with benches in the back like usual, however they sent a really nice car that felt like a limo.
  • I got to the dive area on the pier and waited around for others to show up.
  • We headed out on the boat around 9, it was a big boat with 3 200hp engines on the back
  • I sat in the very front on the bow and got the full force when he gunned the engines
  • I was sitting next to a kid my age and started talking to him, it turns out he was a motocross champion in Europe, I proceed to tell him that I got my motorcycle license but my mommy says no.
  • We talked about how we have the same camera and he tells me his is an underwater video camera! I was very excited…
  • We hit the first snorkel area which was off a beautiful beach in a cove, there were rocky sides and had coral and beautiful fish all over them. I saw parrot fish, trigger fish, wrasse, and all types of blennies.
  • I was swimming in amazement for an hour before we headed to the next spot.
  • My friend Aileen asked for a pretty rock… couldn’t find one.
  • We went to the next area where we dove off the back of the boat into significantly deeper waters. The coral was so amazing, there were iridescent clams everywhere and tons of glowing coral as far as I could see.
  • I dove down 6 meters and picked up a very rare white starfish, the camera didn’t capture the dive because he held it too low and the pressure shut it off…
  • We got back on the boat and headed back to the first beach where we walked through the island to a little restaurant and had a great meal.
  • We went back to the boat and headed to Coral Island for more snorkeling
  • It wasn’t that great until I went past the “snorkeling” area into the scuba zone.
  • I saw the most incredible reef, with so many different species on it.
  • I found a family of clownfish living in a huge anemone, a bunch of cleaner wrasse, puffer fish, barracuda, and so many more.
  • We got back to the boat, and headed back to the hostel.
  • I crashed on the coutch in the main room playing online for the night
  • When I went up to bed, the two Brits in the room didn’t stop talking so I asked them to leave.
  • Finally got to sleep.
