by Joel Goldstein on October 8, 2009

  • Spent the morning in bed finishing my paper
  • Watched my lecture
  • Set off on a bike ride with Nemo
  • Bike tire was flat and didn’t have breaks
  • Went to return the bike, ended up on the back of a 90lb Vietnamese man’s scooter flying through the streets.
  • Got a new bike after waiting 20 minutes on the corner
  • Went to the palace… was asked to leave
  • Went to the mosoleum of Ho Chi Minh
  • Checked out the Library museum and saw how the asians wrote on large tablets to preserve their stories… Tablets were faded from erosian… Fail.
  • Rode during rush hour back to the hostel on our bikes… so much fun!
  • Went out with Travis and Isabella from Argentina
  • Walked around a lake in Hanoi
  • Had dinner at an Australian place
  • Saw a Vietnamese show in the street
