Hanoi Day 9 – Biking, Palace, Memorial, Library

Spent the morning in bed finishing my paper
Watched my lecture
Set off on a bike ride with Nemo
Bike tire was flat and didn’t have breaks
Went to return the bike, ended up on the back of a 90lb Vietnamese man’s scooter flying through the streets.
Got a new bike after waiting 20 minutes on the corner
Went to the palace… was asked to leave
Went to the mosoleum of Ho Chi Minh
Checked out the Library museum and saw how the asians wrote on large tablets to preserve their stories… Tablets were faded from erosian… Fail.
Rode during rush hour back to the hostel on our bikes… so much fun!
Went out with Travis and Isabella from Argentina
Walked around a lake in Hanoi
Had dinner at an Australian place
Saw a Vietnamese show in the street
